Hey there! I'm Susan, leader of Common Sense Solutions for Educators. I'm passionate about student learning and instructional support. In this crazy, ever-changing world, CSSE is focused on striking a balance where urgency does not outweigh importance.

CSSE consultants are influencers, leaving sustainable systems and results. We embrace the power of imagination, understanding what our schools would be like if we engage in a combination of instructional practices and strategic coaching that allow teachers to work within a feedback loop where teachers continually build on what they know and are doing well while also receiving feedback and development in their areas of need.

Besides supporting the goals of instructional leadership and the implementation team, ongoing coaching: 

• Improves knowledge, confidence, and instructional abilities of teachers;

• Shifts the focus to data-based decision making to guide instruction;

• Provides a path to sustainable outcomes.
